To book your place on a program, the non-refundable application fee of $135 USD must be paid. Fees can be paid in EUR or by credit card in any currency upon request.

ENGLISH FOR EXPERIENCE & LIFE

General English - 20 lessons per week, from $245 USD a week

This course will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. See your confidence improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Semi-Intensive English - 24 lessons per week, from $265 USD a week 

This course offers General English plus 4 lessons per week of Special Focus.

Intensive English - 30 lessons per week, from $300 USD a week

Includes the above General English classes, and also allows you to personalise your course by taking an additional 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options(see the choices below). 

English in the City - 30 lessons per week, from $300 USD a week

This Special Focus Programme combines 20 lessons of General English with 10 lessons focused on language study inspired by your destination, for a complete intensive experience that is tailored to you and your personal reasons for learning. Students enrolled in this course visit a number of fascinating locations, from stunning museums and inspiring galleries to successful local businesses and charming neighbourhoods all over the city.

One-to-One , from $70 USD per lesson 

Add One-to-One sessions to any course, and maximize your progress through private lessons. With individual attention, these sessions are 100% focused on your requirements and designed by your teachers to match your specific needs.  This is the most flexible and personal course available, and the ultimate course for making maximum progress during a short period of time.

ENGLISH FOR EDUCATION, WORK & EXAMS 

Academic Semester/Year 

Taking the time to seriously focus on your English will open up unlimited opportunities for you. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more. You will develop fluency, accuracy and appropriate uses of English across all four language skills. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course.   As your English and your confidence improve, you will broaden your horizons and gain a huge advantage in your chosen career or education.

Academic English - 30 lessons per week, from $300 USD a week
Learn the language and specific academic skills required for successful study at an English-speaking university.  You will focus on areas such as: writing assignments on specific topics, listening to lectures and taking effective notes, and preparing and giving academic presentations. 
You will also understand issues such as referencing, how to avoid plagiarism, and other ‘dos and don’ts’ you will need to know at university. 
This is a programme combining 20 lessons of General English with 10 Special Focus lessons of Academic English for a complete intensive experience that is tailored to you and your personal reasons for learning.

IELTS Exam Preparation - 20 lessons a week, from $240 USD a week

Higher Score® exam preparation courses are training in pure exam technique, and exclusive to the school. For those who are confident in their English language abilities, our goal is very simple: to help you improve your exam result.  Higher Score® IELTS classes will focus on three key areas to help you achieve a great score quickly and easily: helpful exam strategies, effective exam thinking, and studying only the English you need to pass the test. 

TOEFL Exam Preparation - 20 lessons a week, from $240 USD a week

Our TOEFL Exam Preparation in Vancouver uses the effective Higher Score® system. This TOEFL course is training in pure exam technique. The course goal is to improve your TOEFL score as much and as quickly as possible.  Let our expert teachers guide you towards your best result by focusing on essential exam strategies, productive exam thinking, and studying only the language you need to succeed. 

TOEIC Exam Preparation - 20 lessons a week, from $240 USD a week

Higher Score® courses are training in pure exam technique, and exclusive to EC in Canada. For those who are confident in their English language abilities, our goal is very simple: to help you improve your exam result. TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) test scores are used by over 10,000 companies, government agencies and English language learning programmes in 120 countries.  Your Higher Score® classes will focus on three key areas to help students achieve a great TOEIC score quickly and easily: helpful exam strategies, effective exam thinking, and studying only the English you need to pass the test.

Cambridge Exam Prep., 20/30 lessons a week, from  $240 USD a week

Cambridge exams are recognised by employers, universities and colleges around the world, and the results are valid for life. We will ensure you enter your exam feeling thoroughly prepared with the confidence to succeed.

  • FCE (First Certificate in English) is suitable if you are confident using a wide range of spoken and written English. 
  • CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) is what you need if you can use your English skills for most professional and academic purposes. 
  • CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) is the one for you if you are able to function effectively in almost every English-speaking context. This is the hardest Cambridge exam.

English for Work - 30 lessons a week, from $300 USD a week 

Are you dreaming of an international career in a global workplace and clear conversations with future colleagues? For those who want to succeed in today's global workplace, this intensive English for Work course develops the fluency, accuracy and specific communication skills you need to advance confidently in your chosen career. Every week you will take 30 lessons: 20 lessons of General English and 10 lessons of Business English. Before Arriving in Toronto
Your experience starts long before your first day at school; from the moment you book your course, we'll be there to help you prepare for student life in the best and smoothest possible way.

Free Language Workshops
Boost your course with additional teacher-led sessions, which are open to everybody and free of charge. A number of sessions take place every week outside of classroom hours. Your learning will be supplemented with free language workshops and a full programme of leisure activities to help you activate your English or French in fun and authentic ways.

Whether you would like to live with other students in a residence, or prefer to experience daily life with a homestay, our range of accommodation options ensures you find the perfect home away from home.

Homestay , from $195 USD a week 

Staying with a local family is both exciting and rewarding. Host families provide the best insight into how Canadian families live their day to day lives. You can choose between a single or twin room. Each room is furnished with a bed, desk, and a closet. It is important that rooms and living areas are kept neat and tidy. You will also have access to a shared bathroom. Private bathrooms are also an option, upon availability. Breakfast and dinner are provided daily by the homestay host, who will be happy to prepare both meals. 

89 Chestnut Summer Residence , from $260 USD a week

It is a residence of superior quality and is recommended for all types of students including executives and families. All the rooms are private and feature en suite bathroom with amenities.  Available: 13 May to 19 August

CCNM Residence , singl room from $185 USD a week 

CCNM’s student residence has a number of shared lounges in each floor, complete with satellite television and a balcony overlooking a courtyard. Adjacent to each lounge is a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities are available on each floor. CCNM is also conveniently located next to a subway station, which makes for an easy commute to school and downtown.

Parkside Residence , from $410 USD a week 

The residence features an on-site dining program with a variety of food stations, and cooking stations. Each apartment consists of two bedrooms, a 3-piece washroom, and a comfortable living area with free WI-FI and cable TV. The bedrooms are single rooms and there are 2 students per apartment. The rooms have a twin-sized bed, a desk, and lots of storage space.  You can book single room, shared bathroom, full board (01 May - 03 Sept Bed & Breakfast only)

City Condo, from $580 USD a week

Our Premium City condominiums feature a fitness centre, social room, and 24-hour security. Our downtown luxury condos provide everything you need to make your home away from home in Toronto and offer the privacy and space to study and socialize.
